Dental Implants FAQ
- Q: What is a dental implant?
A: It’s a small biocompatible post placed into your jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. A crown or bridge is later attached to restore natural function and appearance.
- Q: Why choose dental implants?
A: They offer long-term stability, prevent bone loss, look and feel like natural teeth, and do not require removal for cleaning.
- Q: How much do dental implants cost?
A: Pricing varies based on the number of implants, additional procedures needed, and insurance coverage. A consultation will provide an accurate estimate.
- Q: How do I care for implants?
A: Just like natural teeth—brush, floss, and see your dentist regularly.
- Q: What is the recovery time?
A: Full healing of bone can take 3–6 months, but most patients return to daily activities within a few days.
- Q: Is the procedure painful?
A: No. Anesthesia or IV sedation is used during the procedure, and post-op discomfort is usually minimal and less than tooth removal.
Wisdom Teeth Removal FAQ
- Q: Why do wisdom teeth need removal?
A: They often become impacted, which means they are unable to erupt, leading to infections, damage to nearby teeth, and misalignment.
- Q: What is the procedure like?
A: Under anesthesia, each tooth is carefully removed. The area is cleaned and often sutured. IV sedation is commonly used.
- Q: How long does recovery take?
A: Most patients feel better within a few days. Eating soft foods and following post-op instructions helps.
- Q: What does it cost?
A: Costs vary depending on the number of teeth, anesthesia type, and insurance. A consultation will determine your exact pricing.
- Q: Will it hurt?
A: You won’t feel anything during the procedure. Some soreness afterward is normal and manageable with rest and medication.
Anesthesia & Pain Management FAQ
- Q: What anesthesia options do you provide?
A: We offer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and IV sedation.
- Q: What is Exparel®?
A: Exparel® is an opioid-free, long-lasting pain relief medication given during surgery. It helps control discomfort for several days after the procedure.
- Q: How do I choose the right anesthesia?
A: During your consultation, we’ll review your medical history and recommend the best option for your procedure and comfort.
Technology FAQ
- Q: Do you use advanced technology?
A: Yes. We use 3D Cone Beam CT imaging, which provides detailed scans for precise treatment planning.
- Q: What are the benefits of 3D imaging?
A: Accurate surgical guides, Better identification of nerves and bone structure, Lower radiation exposure and Fewer surprises during surgery
Insurance & Payment FAQ
- Q: How much will my procedure cost?
A: Cost depends on the procedure and your individual needs. We’ll give you a detailed estimate during your consultation.
- Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Yes. We accept many insurance plans and will help you navigate your coverage.
- Q: Do you offer financing?
