I do do some of my own oral surgery in the office, but I do refer quite a bit out also. Young adults, ages somewhere around 16–21, I would mostly prefer to refer those out to Dr. Kovach because he has the ability to do the sedation. I also refer out some more medically compromised patients to Dr. Kovach because we're not equipped in the office to deal with some of the complications that can come from them. Dr. Kovach being a board-certified oral surgeon has the capability here in his office to manage any type of medical emergency. So working with Dr. Kovach as a team has been very beneficial to the Weatherford area because he's conveniently located, he's very knowledgeable, and he's extremely professional. I will continue to refer patients to Dr. Kovach for as long as I'm a dentist in the Weatherford area.--Dr. Vaughn
